Mundos Virtuales is an official FANUC robot integrator in Chile since 2017: we design, program and commission FANUC robotic cells and provide maintenance nationwide.
A FANUC robot arrives ready to move, but not ready to work on your line. It still needs the end effector that picks the part, the safety systems that protect people, the controls that connect it to the rest of the plant and a program tuned to your process. That is the job of a FANUC integrator, and it is what we do.
We have had an integrator agreement with FANUC since 2017. Every robotic cell we integrate uses FANUC robots, and we have more than 9 years of experience integrating and maintaining robots.
In 2020 we were the first in Latin America to use the FANUC force sensor in production.
We start with a technical assessment of the process and your goals. From there we define the robot, layout and cycle times, and validate them in 3D simulation before building anything.
We use SCHUNK grippers or design a custom end effector, with 3D printed or machined parts from our workshop, depending on the part the robot needs to pick.
SCHUNK and custom grippersWe program the robot and connect it to PLCs, HMIs, sensors, computer vision and the machines already running on the line.
We install the cell, run FAT and SAT testing as required and support the start-up. Afterwards we continue with preventive and corrective maintenance, program adjustments, recipe changes and calibration.

Part handling, assembly and machine tool loading follow the same process, which we explain on our robotic cells page. See also our industrial automation projects and case studies.
Besides being an official FANUC integrator, we are an official SCHUNK distributor in Chile for gripping systems. That lets us handle the robot and the gripper in the same project, without coordinating another supplier.
When no standard gripper fits the part, we design and build one with 3D printing, machining and assembly in our workshop. That is how we made the grippers that pick banknotes without damaging them.
Meet our workshop and teamIt depends on the process, which is why we do not publish fixed prices. The robot is only part of the project: the end effector, safety and integration with your line also drive the cost.
We quote after a technical assessment and propose the scope, technologies and work plan, including after-sales support.
